Titlis through a series of three different cable car rides, you will be amazed as the scenery changes from green meadows, scenic lakes to snow clad mountains. See over 200 cable cars sporting different flags. Lookout for cable car number 73 that carries the Indian flag! The last leg of the ascent will be in the world’s first rotating cable car called the ‘Titlis Rotair’. At Mt. Titlis you have free time to play and enjoy in the snow, visit the Ice Cave or just relax at the restaurant. At the Terrace on top of the Mt. Titlis summit station, weather permitting, you could take an unforgettable ride on the “Ice - Flyer” an enclosed ski lift that travels only a few meters over the Titlis Glacier.

  • 05th Sep - Visit Zaanse Schans - Madurodam - Guided Walking Tour of Amsterdam

After a continental breakfast, proceed to Zaanse Schans, Netherlands.
The Zaanse Schans is one of the highlights of the Netherlands, just outside Amsterdam. Be part of a vibrant and stunning living and working community that dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries. It’s packed with wooden windmills, barns, houses and museums and built in the typically Dutch wooden architectural style, relocated here piece by piece since 1961. The Zaanse Schans will easily fill half a day – there is so much to see, taste, smell and experience! Take a walk through the stunning buildings and the unique peat meadow landscape. Come and watch traditional crafts such as clog- and cheese-making or visit the windmills and traditional buildings.

Later visit all of Holland’s iconic attractions during a fun-filled visit to the Madurodam miniature park in The Hague. Feel like a mighty giant as you stroll past small-scale replicas of famous Dutch landmarks like the Port of Rotterdam and the Rijksmuseum. Admire traditional Dutch houses; delight in the vibrant color of tulip fields; and see signature Dutch windmills in verdant fields. Enrich your knowledge of the Netherlands with educational exhibitions and informative plaques throughout your visit to the magnificent miniature park.

Enjoy a guided walking tour of Amsterdam. Explore the Dam Square or indulge in some shopping.

Dam Square is Amsterdam’s best-known square, and it is a handy central location from which to explore the medieval city centre. It is Amsterdam’s beating heart. This square is the very spot where Amsterdam was founded around 1270. Today pigeons, tourists, buskers and the occasional Ferris-wheel-boasting fair take over the grounds. Long before it hosted fun and games, the square was split into two sections called Vissersdam, a fish market where the Bijenkorf department store now stands, and Vijgendam, probably named for the figs and other exotic fruits unloaded from ships. Various markets and events have been held here through the ages, including executions – you can still see holes on the front of the Royal Palace where the wooden gallows were affixed.

The city-center Markt features horse-drawn carriage rides and 17th-century houses converted into restaurants and cafes, as well as the 13th-century belfry with its 47-bell carillon and 83m tower with panoramic views.

On arrival, enjoy a canal cruise in this beautiful medieval city. Viewing the city from the water gives it a totally different feel than by foot. Cruise down Spiegelrei towards Jan Van Eyckplein and it's possible to imagine Venetian merchants entering the city centuries ago and meeting under the slender turret of the Poortersloge building up ahead.
