Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you are met by our guide carrying  your name. Your guide will present you with a welcome packet including all necessary documentation and vouchers and all contact information of your guide and local offices. Transfer to Hotel, Check in & Realx.

 

Give alms to the monks (Tour will start early morning)

Excursion to Kuang Si Waterfalls (3 hours)

From Luang Prabang, travel by vehicle to to Kuang Si Waterfall. This waterfall is located in a perfect natural setting near Luang Prabang, this multi-tiered waterfall tumbles over limestone formations into a series of turquoise pools. Enjoy swimming in the clear water or just relaxing in the natural environment. Visit a local village (Ban Ou or Ban Na Ouane) on the way, before returning to Luang Prabang by vehicle.

Exhibit Tour and Attend Baci Ceremony at Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre (Taec) (1 hour)

After a tour through Taec's exhibitions about the different ethnic groups of Laos, visitors will experience a traditional baci ceremony in Taec's outdoor cafe space. Led by a talented female ritualist, the guests will be seated around a traditional Luang Prabang phakhwan with banana leaves, rice, flowers, candles, and food, and be blessed with cotton thread around their wrists. Taec's staff will give the group an introduction to the soukhwan, receive a short introduction to the traditional baci ceremony, to understand the heritage and meaning.
