Depart from Kochi International Airport for your flight to Kathmandu (with connections). Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet your adventure guide for transfer to your hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu's bustling adventure hub district. After check-in and refreshment, attend a comprehensive trip briefing with your guide to discuss the adventures ahead and check your gear. Evening welcome dinner featuring traditional Nepalese cuisine with cultural dance performance.
Early morning transfer to the domestic airport for the breathtaking mountain flight to witness sunrise over the Himalayan range including Mount Everest (weather permitting). Return for breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a guided tour of Kathmandu's cultural highlights including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. Afternoon visit to Patan Durbar Square to explore ancient temples and the excellent museum. Evening free to explore Thamel's adventure gear shops and vibrant restaurant scene.
After breakfast, drive to Charaudi to begin a thrilling full-day white-water rafting adventure on the Trishuli River. Navigate through exciting Class III-IV rapids with the guidance of professional river guides, enjoying stunning gorge scenery along the way. Enjoy a riverside picnic lunch during a calm stretch. Return to Kathmandu by evening for dinner and rest before tomorrow's journey.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara (approximately 6-7 hours) with stunning views of terraced fields, traditional villages, and glimpses of the Annapurna range. Stop at adventure spots along the way including a zip-line option at Mankhu (optional, additional cost). Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your lakeside hotel. Evening orientation walk along Phewa Lake followed by dinner at a local restaurant.
Very early morning drive to Sarangkot viewpoint (1,600m) for a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. For the adventurous, experience paragliding from Sarangkot with experienced pilots, gliding with eagles while enjoying bird's-eye views of Pokhara Valley and the Himalayas (optional, additional cost). After late breakfast, afternoon boating on Phewa Lake followed by a moderate hike to the World Peace Pagoda for panoramic views. Evening at leisure to explore Pokhara's lakeside area.
Full-day adventure trekking to Dhampus village (1,700m) through rhododendron forests and traditional settlements with spectacular mountain views throughout. This moderately challenging trek gives you a taste of Nepal's famous trekking routes. Enjoy lunch at a local teahouse in Dhampus, interacting with villagers and learning about mountain life. Return to Pokhara by late afternoon. Evening visit to a traditional Nepali kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience preparing your own dinner.
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park (approximately 5-6 hours), Nepal's premier wildlife sanctuary. Check into your jungle lodge on the edge of the national park. Afternoon orientation walk in the buffer zone, learning about the local Tharu culture and the park's conservation efforts. Evening presentation on Chitwan's wildlife followed by a traditional Tharu stick dance performance and dinner.
Full day of jungle activities starting with an early morning canoe ride on the Rapti River to spot crocodiles and numerous bird species. Continue with a jeep safari deep into Chitwan National Park searching for one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, sloth bears, and wild elephants with experienced naturalist guides. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy an elephant experience where you'll learn about these magnificent animals and their care. Late afternoon nature walk in the community forest. Evening farewell dinner featuring organic local cuisine.
After breakfast, transfer to Bharatpur Airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Depending on your international flight schedule, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping in Thamel for Nepali handicrafts, adventure gear, or thangka paintings. Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your return flight to Kochi, carrying memories of your Himalayan adventure.
