Day 1 Colonial Welcome

Arrive at Coimbatore Airport (85 km/3 hours) or Mettupalayam Railway Station (40 km/1.5 hours). Option to take UNESCO heritage Nilgiri Mountain Railway (toy train) journey to Ooty. Check into hotel. Afternoon visit to 55-acre Government Botanical Gardens (1848) with 1,000 plant species and 20-million-year-old fossilized tree. Explore Rose Garden with 20,000 rose varieties. Evening boat ride at Ooty Lake (1824) by John Sullivan. Overnight in Ooty.

Day 2 Coonoor Tea

Experience Day trip to Coonoor (20 km) through scenic hills and tea estates. Visit Sim's Park botanical garden with 1,000 plant varieties.
